IF PROBLEM HAPPEN

this package is our try to put amdgpu in ARCH, but this could break or have problems as amd update and change their packages for ubuntu

if anything happens you can always download a older tag in https://github.com/Ashark/archlinux-amdgpu-pro/releases and get the PKGBUILD there, and use makepkg with that build while we update or try to fix :)

ALWAYS USE LINUX-FIRMWARE-GIT IF LATEST DRIVER FAIL BEFORE ISSUE SOME ERROR

anyone know if the issue causing this not to work under gnome shell is fixed yet?

Can confirm that it works on my RX 470. Having some major issues after installing this. PlayOnLinux is reporting missing 64bit openGL libs, many games such as openarena, xonotic, and others aren't launching. Steam works with many hacks, as do some games such as portal, but at a lower framerate and choppier than the open source drivers. I have gotten openCL to work with folding at home, which failed on the open drivers. I'll put in a more proper report later, but wanted to let people know the state of what I got to work here, as opposed to just putting issues elsewhere.

Updated to 16.30.3.315407-1 The package structure is identical, and I don't seem to have any problems. Any success stories for polaris yet?

@DevilX You'll have to remove the xf86-video-amdgpu package. I'll add a conflict for it in the next release. Let me know if you have any other package conflicts.

16.30.3.306809-5 - moves some libraries out of debian paths into /usr/lib and /usr/lib32 - should fix -lGL - should fix vdpau This is a pretty big change to the library layout, so keep around a copy of the previous packages and be prepared to boot in text mode to revert. Let me know how it goes.
