@Szadek Thanks for reporting back. I was having a hard time generating the original error again so I wasn't sure if it was fixed or not.

@Szadek It's safe to force it. I'll try to figure out what is going on and fix it.

Hi, first of all many thanks for this extension. It has been working great. the package fails to reinstall on the latest kernel 6.1.7:

==> dkms install --no-depmod applesmc-next/0.1.2 -k 6.1.7-arch1-1
Module version  for applesmc.ko.zst
exactly matches what is already found in kernel 6.1.7-arch1-1.
DKMS will not replace this module.
You may override by specifying --force.

Error! Installation aborted.
==> WARNING: `dkms install --no-depmod applesmc-next/0.1.2 -k 6.1.7-arch1-1' exited 6

is it safe to use the force flag?

best regards

edit: clarify and fix typo.

There is currently a symbolic link error during build. It's harmless but needs to be fixed at some point.
