The URL http://www.florian-diesch.de/software/arronax/dist/arronax-0.7.1.tar.gz is out of date. The Website does not serve the "dist" folder anymore. But the source code still exists in launchpad: https://bazaar.launchpad.net/~diesch/arronax/trunk/tarball/128.

The icons are erroneously installed in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/{size}x{size}/ when they should be installed in /usr/share/icons/hicolor/{size}x{size}/apps/

prepare() {
    # Fix icon location
    cd "$pkgname-$pkgver"
    sed -i 's|{s}x{s}|{s}x{s}/apps|g' setup.py
}

no it's not. /share it not a standard *nix filesystem directory and i don't know why your (and only your) arronax is looking for its files over there...
