Hi @a821! Thank you very much for listing the issues with the PKGBUILD! I'll fix them this weekend :)

The PKGBUILD has several issues. As it stands, it fails to build.

The build function and dependencies needs to be reviewed. At the very least cmake is missing, and there seems to be unnecessary downloading and building of dependencies. The package should use system dependencies if possible.
The source protocol needs to be updated to git+https://
Also it needs to pull from a tagged commit (or direct download from tag).
Fix unquoted references to $pkgdir.
