When I run
aurget -Syu
I get a message

My main motivation was for what's listed in the AUR helper wiki, but you're right that just having the package available here or on github doesn't harm anyone. I've just proposed to remove stale entries from the tables in that article instead. [4] Thanks.

@Alad, I don't follow. Do you want me to take this package down? Delete the code off GitHub? Is its presence somehow causing pain somewhere?
Thanks for those links though, aurutils has some really cool ideas, though a few rough edges and a steep learning curve, IMO.

To be blunt, what's the reason to keep using this one? It performs poorly compared to most if not all other AUR helpers [1], has no unique functionality of its own, and encourages brittle practices like sourcing PKGBUILDs [2] over using SRCINFO and the RPC, which have existed since 2012. [3]
