Perhaps this package should be just the light-weight client, just enough for bacula-fd to run. Specifically, having --enable-bat in this package is a very bad idea. Basically, you build this and it requires all of X. Also, please attach ssl as a dependency instead of just shutting it off to get it to build. The ssl layer is sort of essential for many bacula server installations to communicate with their clients.

I get an error: make[1]: leaving directory '/tmp/yaourt-tmp-slm/aur-bacula-client/src/bacula-5.0.1/manpages' chmod: can not access '/tmp/yaourt-tmp-slm/aur-bacula-client/pkg/etc/bacula/scripts/gconsole': No such file or directory Aborting... ==> ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build bacula-client.

Thanks for the advice; I've modified the PKGBUILD.

It will build if you change --with-openssl to --without-openssl in the configure args in PKGBUILD. I can use that as a workaround temporarily, might help somebody else too.
