Upstream really shouldn't change their release tags.

I cleaned out cache and the yay AUR helper downloaded fresh version. However when doing a sha256sum on the downloaded package beakerlib-1.30.tar.g I'm getting a different hash sum than what is shown in the PKGBUILD:
9161dd08ca7a9066d2d85ff6911b7c8271fbd6ba76d5fe168f2ad3e705bd2615 is my calculated sha256sum

That's probably because your aur helper cached the source while makepkg downloaded a fresh one.

As of 2-1-2023 the sha256 checksum still fails as originally reported by @dankuser on 12-26-2022, however downloading the PKGBUILD manually and running with makepkg, the package is successfully built -- not sure how to explain this anomaly.
