Thank you for marking the package as out-of-date. But you not need.

I am working with the founder of betterbird and receive the information about the new version immediately. And I am not 24 hours in front of my PC. Sometimes I have a private life and need to sleep. But you can be sure, I am doing my best to update as soon as possible.

Kind regards

betterbird-102.11.0-bb35.en-US.linux-x86_64.tar.bz2 isn't passing the sha256sums test. I have tried re-downloading it to a cleaned cache several times.

Yes, an unwanted change has crept in here: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/commit/?h=betterbird-bin&id=8f1b2361177eab86b302d14133f6965605523b51

It should be Icon=betterbird. Icon=eu.betterbird.Betterbird is from the FlatPak build.

Seems like the Icon entry in the betterbird.desktop file is wrong. See https://todo.sr.ht/~tsdh/swayr/34

@spsf64 This flag is for when the developer (Betterbird in this case) has a newer release on his website that hasn't been updated here in the AUR. There may also be a slight delay. (beg your indulgence) This comment from ME was also kind of stupid. Sorry for that.

@Posi, I just saw your comment about flagging the package out of date, I think thats why there is such option, do not feel offended by that... Sorry; Keep the good work, thanks!

@Betterbird, ops, sorry about that, I will unflag it...

Not quite out of date yet. Yes, we've build 102.8.0, but the release date is on the 14th of February. It's possible that TB will build again and then we'll have to follow.

Well, the fix we included in 102.7.0-bb28 "replacement" for Office365 is the same TB will be shipping in TB 102.7.1. So if it doesn't work, someone should ring the alarm. https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1810760 has more details. In fact, this comment https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1810760#c7 talks about "re-setting up". If all fails, please downgrade to 102.6.1-bb27.

Hi @alexiri, sorry about the confusion. Yes, the original BB 102.7.0-BB28 was released on 17th January. Then there were icons missing and we did a "build2". Then there were these Oauth2 errors which we decided to fix with a "replacement" build that replaced all the others. AUR here was smart enough to wait until the dust had settled. If there are any problems, please get in touch with our support.
