@Cooky-12 what do you mean that "it is not a fake ps3 controller"? I'm sure it is a PS3 controller since I used it on one, and I'm sure its fake since the brand is not sony :) is there something I'm missing here? Thanks
@nouli check this :

Hi!, I used this package in the past for a GUO HUA PS3 GamePad and it worked perfectly!, but now I tried using it in another installation and bluetoothctl is asking me now for a PIN in order to connect, I've tried 0000, 1234, 1111 but neither of those work. What can I do?
@fourier Try a better usb cable ? Fake ps3 controllers usually should work in usb mode out of box, and only can pairing via USB. Maybe your gamepad is not a fake ps3 controller ?
@Cooky-12 thanks for the answer, I missed the pairing via USB, i was opening bluetoothcl and expecting the controller to appear there when turning on scan. I tried USB pairing but it is NOT working. The controller is not even being detected on dmesg or lsusb... any ideas on how to debug this? I also tried on a windows PC and couldn't get it to work there either.
@fourier If you do the steps from the archwiki for 'Pairing via USB', but your Bluetooth adapter can't find your controller when it's in wireless mode, try a better Bluetooth adapter. Some crappy adapters, especially USB ones, don't work with fake PS3 controllers.
Hey, I have installed this package, I'm trying to pair a generic PIII WIRELESS CONTROLLER through bluetooth but it is not being detected. Is there any repo where I can report this or seek some assitance? thanks
seems to work with a "GUO HUA PS3 GamePad"
