@francescomasala @brombinmirko: There was a request to share the work I did, and I thought it would be the easiest to do this on AUR.
The only thing you returned for the work I did was a deletion request – while I stated from the beginning that this is temporary until you guy's figured out how to proceed. And you guys seriously expect someone else to help you?
@francescomasala: just FYI, the .SRCINFO doesn't match the PKGBUILD in the last commit; I'm guessing you may have forgotten to git add some changes, and perhaps you manually edited it instead of running makepkg --printsrcinfo > .SRCINFO?

With this message I intend to communicate that the package will not be updated until the release of the new version of libadwaita on the official repo.
Lastly, if you want the latest version of Bottles without waiting, you are welcome to install the official Flatpak for now.

I'll have a look at it later, maybe I find a better workaround
@RubenKelevra libadwaita-git may cause breakage in GNOME apps that doesn’t support new APIs.
@FabioLolix I figured maybe some more people just want to use this software, until the building issues in this package are fixed. That's why I chose Aur. It's also not a duplicate. I did change a lot between this package and mine.
@RubenKelevra for somewhere I did not mean to upload a duplicate on the AUR, you're pleased to delete that and to use any git forge you like and link that here

It uses 2022.5.28-trento-3 in the sources but has the version 2022.6.14 which is wrong.
Additionally, you're saying it "CANNOT BE UPGRADED TO 2022.6.14" in the pinned comment – which sounds out of date, if you consider that the package is already at version 2022.6.14.
Sure, I'm using libadwaita-git, which works, so why bother?
And I tried to contact you here. This whole situation is confusing and it's very uncommon that people from Github actively working on a project are also maintaining packages in the AUR. So it's weird to expect people to contact you via Github for simple building errors.
@RubenKelevra Why not contacting us and offer your solution? We are waiting for libadwaita so if you have a solution that doesn't plan to use libadwaita-git simply join us on GitHub.

This package is not officially supported by the Bottles Developers. Even though some of those developers are package maintainers, support is offered by the package authors who will make sure it is handled in the best possible way. They will diagnose the issues and report the issues to the development team if they are not related to the package.
