I just want to mention that this works for the PIXMA G5070 printer as well. It would be great if you could add it to the description.

I added some missing settings to the printer driver UI by adding the following in the ppd in /usr/share/cups/model/canonxxxx.ppd (xxxx=your model):

*OpenUI *InputSlot/Paper Source: PickOne
*DefaultInputSlot: asf
*InputSlot auto/Automatically Select: "<</MediaPosition 0>>setpagedevice"
*InputSlot asf/Rear Tray: "<</MediaPosition 0>>setpagedevice"
*InputSlot cassette/Cassette: "<</MediaPosition 1>>setpagedevice"
*CloseUI: *InputSlot

*OpenUI *CNQuality/Quality: PickOne
*DefaultCNQuality: 4
*CNQuality 2/High: "2"
*CNQuality 3/Normal: "3"
*CNQuality 4/Standard-Economy: "4"
*CloseUI: *CNQuality

This might or might not work for your model, I used this from my old Canon MG5250.

I know, it would have been possible to do this in the PKGBUILD, but I wanted to make a clean installation of the official drivers.
