@grosjo Maybe you can send an issue to the upstream. I think it's not just about updating the version of Electron. Other related components also need to be updated together, such as Node.js, electron-builder, and so on.

at least, should remove electron29 (so old)

I replaced electron29 (outdated) with electron35 as per archlinux repository
Maybe the problem comes from there

I get the following error

instead ofelectron29

Repeatedly broke, trying to install as the dependency election29, is no longer in the repo. Edit package build and change to 32 & it installs fine.
