The package is out of date, because attempting to build a newer version results in errors. Since I have not managed to produce a PKGBUILD that builds the autotools version, it has stayed out of date. Since you filed an orphan request "Too long no update", I assume that you are interested in providing that update by fixing the issues with building the autotools version of CDE.

If the packages is not out of date, it should be marked as not out of date, packagesing error should be reported on the comments instead of flagging.

@malacology feel free to fix/update. My attempts so far may be found at https://github.com/yjftsjthsd-g/cdesktopenv-git-aur/commit/9d7d78e7c5c82cae0d59e96dffe18e8ff560daac but result in a package that still references the build directory

I apologize in advance for the delay in this next version; switching to autoconf will take a bit more effort than just a version bump.

They've added the ksh93 submodule to the repo.
I got it working with this (sorry if it's wrong - just copied the submodule example from the wiki).
Could you please update it?
Thanks!

PS: Package will also not build without xorg-bdftopcf installed. It's not mentioned in the required packages, but it is a part of the the xorg package group. Maybe add the group as a dependency?

Well this is awkward. I did get it working, but now it won't build. Errors reproducable in my normal setup and on sourcehut (https://builds.sr.ht/~yjftsjthsd/job/111551). I strongly suspect that upstream broke under us (joys of being a *-git package), but haven't yet tried building one commit at a time back to check.
