Hi Baldric,
The Arch packages lazarus-qt5 and lazarus-gtk2 won't co-install (unlike on Debian). You need to remove lazarus-gtk2 to build cevomapgen. (You can replace it later if you wish).
(gtk2 is long past end of life, but c-evo won't run with qt5.)

P.S. You could build cevomapgen with gtk2 by hacking the Makefile, but the qt5 version is better.

Hi Peter, I tried installing this (yay -S cevomapgen) and it tells me the different lazarus make deps for c-evo and mapgen are in conflict and the install fails:
