makepkg automatically compresses manpages, so point 3) of sikmirs comment is not needed. And arch should be an array:
arch=('x86_64')

makedepends
, see PKGBUILD:2) Use
arch=(x86_64)

:3) Compress man page before installing:
4) Consider to install scripts to
/usr/share/cfiles/scripts
instead of/usr/bin
