As the comment in the PKGBUILD says (you've read it, right? ;) ), Cisco does not provide public downloads for this, so you have to obtain the installer yourself either through your own Cisco account or through your company's.

With the version of anyconnect 4.6.03049, the download crash with the same error as stated by v0ido9. Probably the older version doesn't use libboost_chrono.so as the newer does. I removed the library from the dependency in PKGBUILD and was able to build it without error. When I launch anyconnect, it freezes for 30 sec and kill its own process. At this point, I double check each md5sum to see if they were different (even libboost_chrono.so). I even try downloading libboost_chrono.so by its own package in boost_libs and manually placing it in the dependency folder without success. I believe this package won't be able to support lower version of anyconnect as there is too much change across those two major version. I'm not sure how it can be handle in the AUR though. if you find anything to make it work, please let me know!

They should be included in the package. What package are you trying to install from? Do the hashes match?

I've updated the PKGBUILD to support building from both the tarball and the executable installed - just change the _source variable at the top (it's going to default to "installer" at least for now, for compatibility reasons) and make sure the file exists in the working directory and is named correctly.

Edit: meant to remove parts of an earlier post I made to not confuse new users, ended up accidentally deleting it. The !strip option K900 is referring to is answering a question regarding my now outdated cisco-anyconnect-tarball package.

Seems like you're missing the "!strip" option. You need to have it set, stripping debug symbols from the vpnagentd binary makes it explode.

It should be on the download page you get when navigating to your VPN server's URL and logging in. Skip the Java automagic installer thingy if you have Java installed for some reason.
