just a heads up, this is a 1GB download, and a 4.5GB package install - their binaries are massive. I've removed the static link files - but you can keep them by modifying the PKGBUILD.
This package shouldn't conflict with any other clang installs, as it installs to /opt a handful of binaries are pointed to by wrappers installed to /usr/bin/ with a -17 suffix - see PKGBUILD for details
