When someone uses a PKGBUILD from AUR as the starting point for their own, a start for a new to start their own package best practice is to keep the list of previous contributors . Why did you remove those lines but made very few other changes ?
This package builds an older version of the cnrdrvcups-lb package maintained by myself and severach, as such it should be named cnrdrvcups-lb5 or similar to make clear it's basically the same package, just an older version. Why did you choose to name it cnrdrvcups-sfp ?
The upstream url in my package was chosen specifically to provide info about the driver. People that start on the toplevel canon europe site will have a hard time finding relevant info about it, why didn't you choose a meaningful url like that ?
If you had issues with the 5.10 version , why did you start a new package without posting anything ?
