This is outdated. The PKGBUILD build() function needs to be renamed to package().

- A new version (2.34) is available. - Also, the 'make install' command is missing the DESTDIR="${pkgdir}" variable, and the current PKGBUILD installs all the file directly to the root filesystem. In addition to this, if $MAKEFLAGS contains -j<i> with i>1 (for parallel builds), make recipes with dependencies between their commands break. (i.e. 'sed [..] <file>' followed by 'rm <file>) - An example of the above fixes : http://pastebin.ca/1961979
