I finally give up on this and uninstall this since even after some trying I do not get a sdbus-cpp1 installation (in parallel with current sdbus-cpp 2.x) with included header, pkgconfig and cmake files to work in a way that cppbtbl actually uses them properly.

I uninstall cppbtbl to not get bothered with update information which fails to build on my system :-(.

Hope that at some time cppbtbl gets updated to sdbus-cpp 2.x.

Regards!

You can change dependency sdbus-cpp<2.0.0 to libsdbus-c++.so.1, which will be fulfilled by the package sdbus-cpp1.

However, this does not yet fix the build errors and make dependencies, since sdbus-cpp1 does not (yet) install include files.

Regards and thanks for maintaining!

Hi @dreieck, as stated in the issue on GitHub, the source code needs to be updated, so that it supports v2 of sdbus-cpp. In the meantime, you can downgrade to version 1.5.0 of sdbus-cpp and add the package to your IgnorePkg. I have also reflected this small change in the PKGBUILD.

Build fails for me with main.cpp:83:27: error: no matching function for call to 'createProxy' and subsequent errors.
