The package builds and launches fine after removing the dependencies double-conversion (which is pulled as a subrepo) and ilmbase (which apparently is of no use).

ilmbase is not available, so to install I moved openexr (which I believe contains ilmbase) into depends. Then makepkg(1) as usual.
