I have installed libxcrypt-compat from core repo, which provides libcrypt.so=1-64 to solve ...error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1... Why is it not a dependency for this package?

Apparently glibc
removed /usr/lib/libcrypt.so.1
, and davinci-resolve
seems to depend on it:
/opt/resolve/bin/resolve
/opt/resolve/bin/resolve: error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
To resolve (heh), install libxcrypt-compat
from AUR.
This package should add this to its dependencies.

Echoing 1, I'd also appreciate a symlink /usr/bin/resolve -> /opt/resolve/bin/resolve
in the package. Thanks!

This package is missing a symlink for the binary to a relevant PATH, please add one. Thank you.

Follow up from my last comment (I don't know how to delete or edit comments here?). I tried again and it now somehow opens without errors...

Hi I'm getting the following error, after I press continue on the welcome screen. Can someone help me?

I have the same issue with missing libgpudetect.so
After installing this through yay, there was an issue finding libc++.so.1 I fixed this by installing libc++ through pacman. I now have an issue where libgpudetect.so is not detected. I'm not sure how to fix this, is there potentially a packaging issue as laemplein suggested?
TheCustomFHD commented on 2021-11-01 20:59 (UTC)
i would recommend to add the following packages, as they were nessesary to get audio output. Might need some more testing which of the two are actually needed, if both arent needed. pulseaudio-alsa alsa-plugins
Hope i was able to help, if i did something wrong, please let me know, as im new here.

The sha236 checksum is still wrong as of writing this. Similar to what attackercow said, if you're using Pamac ('Add/Remove Software' on Manjaro), you can click 'Edit build files' before starting the download, and in the PKGBUILD, edit where it says:
9c19081d6fa6d502dbbb113553d27eb58edbf64f459b4af87f136ec4e77333cb
And replace it with:
