IMPORTANT!

Since version 19.1.3-2 this package will not download automatically the source file from the upstream site.

To build this package you will need to manually download the file from https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support/family/davinci-resolve-and-fusion and place it in the same directory with the PKGBUILD.

This would reduce the mess in this package, making it more readable and clear. Also bypassing the required information from the upstream URL is not allowed in an automated way.

It is not starting with DRI_PRIME=1 start-resolve. Is there any workaround for this issue?

I deleted my earlier comment, as it was not relevant. I ran an install, rather than an update, and the software installed without a hitch. Great work! Thanks @satriani!

This was mainly an academic exercise for me - feel free to adopt.

If this package is installed by yaourt, the downloaded package needs to be copied into its tmp-build directory, which is located in: /tmp/yaourt-tmp-USERNAME/aur-davinci-resolve/. Unfortunately, changing the path (either absolute or relative) does not work in the PKGBUILD file.

Question: Where should I put the "DaVinci_Resolve_12.5.6_Linux.zip" file?

Hi. I got it to work with b4 ver, but I need to change to user permissions on /opt/resolve to open it.
