@dpx: Maybe you can use the ALSA JACK PCM plugin or a loopback device and then specify the chromium cli flag --alsa-output-device?

@SibrenVasse Yes, pulseaudo jack sink then jack going directly to semi decent DAC/AMP and headphones. Of course pulseaudio slightly degrades sound quality. If you run into any hint how it can be done don't hesitate to contact me, I am software developer and can do some digging on my own, as long as I know where to start looking.

@dpx: there is currently no way to do that I'm afraid. Are you using the pulseaudio jack sink? In that case, you could select the sink in pavucontrol.

Thank you for maintaining this package! I made small script specifically for deezer to let it behave less intrusive, it will pop in when requested and hide when requested (even better if you tie it to a hotkey): https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=248480
Is there any chance to redirect playing directly to jack or select output backend? I am hifi subscriber but deezer always plays trough pulseaudio which reduces sound quality.

@SibrenVasse MPRIS working good so far :-) One thing I would change is to display the title bar, otherwise it's a bit strange to interact with the window.

If anyone is interested, I've got a test version of this package where I've patched deezer to have a working MPRIS D-Bus implementation. This means you can view playback metadata and control playback with external applications like playerctl.
If you try it, let me know your findings!
