@gitpocalypse: I've added you as a Co-Maintainer so you can contribute as much or as little as you'd like. As long as Dell doesn't change anything, it should just be easy version bumps.

Happy to help, just ask! I see more than one interested person, consider if you guys want to be co-maintainers and help out each other when the other one is away or busy. And good luck, enjoy the package and the experience :)

gitpocalypse commented on 2021-10-30 00:44 (UTC)

I would be interested in that. You'll have to bear with me though since I am not intimately familiar with ABS. This would be my first package maintenance.

maximbaz commented on 2021-10-30 00:34 (UTC)

Thanks guys! Would anyone want to take over the maintenance of this package? I'm not really using it anymore, and I don't want to slow down sharing the improvements.

@gitpocalyse 's hint was right on. I added a download agent to the PKGBUILD to get it to download right.

I am having issues with it. I had to download the file manually and have the PKGBUILD point to it with a file:/// url. I suspect they are checking the user agent in the request for the file.

Dependencies are missing. Here'a a few improvements:

Hi. Can you upgrade to 4.4 version? Thanks.

bigcajun826 commented on 2020-04-28 22:08 (UTC)

maximbaz: I don't have a way to follow updates outside of just manually checking. I didn't even know this package was here until today as I just found out about this Dell utility today. I went to the Dell link and then checked the AUR and found this package and happen to notice a new version was just released.

bigcajun826: thanks for the ping about the update. How do you follow updates? Would like to setup urlwatch, but find it difficult.
