I dont know if kitty does actual unicode fonts (bdf/pcf) but thats what I use with urxvt. then the otb version for all gtk and pango using applications. though I did run into some weird quirks where programs resize this incorrectly, which made me also make a size locked single size version

@Ckat Many thanks for bringing back my favourite font. While I did try all the remaining variants of dina in the repos, for reasons I have no comprehension over, this is the only one variant that works with kitty (tried on urxvt too). Every other version of this from arch repos or manually finding and patching just does not work with kitty terminal (Default monospace font is being displayed instead of dina even though configuration is correct). Only this TTF version is displaying correctly.

while I dont recommend you use this, I mainly made this when otb support was awful and I couldnt get anything decent working post pango entirely breaking actual bitmap formats. I did fix the url with the archive

true, but I happened to look at the terminus ones when naming this, they're similarly suffixed with -font like dina https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/?&K=terminus-font

Usually ttf packages are named with the ttf- first?
