I'm not sure if I should add those dependencies as they're already required by adwaita/gtk.

Sorry to bother you so often, but:

dosage-tracker W: Dependency hicolor-icon-theme detected and implicitly satisfied (needed for hicolor theme hierarchy)
dosage-tracker W: Dependency dconf detected and implicitly satisfied (needed for glib schemas)

@Tio I had the same error in a clean chroot, but after many various tries I finally updated my system and also the chroot and no longer had the build error, so maybe try updating your system?
