Updated to 2021.10.0. Note that this package now depends on jdk15-adoptopenjdk as it's the only JRE 15 package available for Arch.

Not sure is it this package or faf-client itself, but by reading /usr/bin/downlords-faf-client I found out that it
s script having it
s own "export INSTALL4J_JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-15-jdk".This export overrided my trying to export correct java,so I renamed existing one. Hope this will help someone

It doesn't start with 16. Tried various implementations of java 15 from AUR and it works somewhat, but not fully. For example: it doesn't show queue buttons on the matchmaking tab. Also replays don't load. Is there a linux oriented discussion about this client? Maintainers are constantly reminding that they are not supporting linux and I'm somewhat torn by this statement - it's okay and ridiculous at the same time for various reasons. Sorry for venting, I'm just trying to figure things out.

Failing to start due to java errors. Recent java update to blame? See: https://pastebin.com/PhnPzcTe

Seems to run just fine on openJDK 15 after i added -Dprism.forceGPU=true to downlords-faf-client.vmoptions.

@P_Kras unfortunately that happens when Oracle breaks stuff on their end. Try downloading the tar.gz from this page and putting it in the same directory as the jre14 PKGBUILD.

@dcelasun Looks like package jre14 is broken. I can't install it, because i allways get 404.
