Since the recent xorg-cleanup compilation fails with:

x.c:11:10: fatal error: X11/Xatom.h: No such file or directory

No-one has said anything to the contrary. I'm not going to further enable you to perpetuate an argument you tried to have on IRC but failed, here. Just as with all other Arch packages, changes to upstream's sources are patched in, not copied directly. It's standard practice. The AUR is not a place to mirror upstream source code.

dwm doesn't need a config.h to compile. Also whats the point of checksums on a file people are going to modify.

No, dwm.c is provided upstream, so there is no need whatsoever for this to be duplicated here in the AUR. You are welcome to clone and modify this AUR package and add any of your own patches to your local copy, still installing this with pacman.

Please also provide a dwm.c, since it is also needed to configure dwm.
