I suggest to change this line: install -m 644 *.jpg extra/*.jpg "${pkgdir}"/usr/share/backgrounds/elementary/ to this line: install -m 644 *.jpg "${pkgdir}"/usr/share/backgrounds/elementary/ because directory "extra" don't exists in source directory. Otherwise package shows error.

Again, to help with the transition from -bzr: provides=('elementary-wallpapers' pantheon-backgrounds{,-bzr}) conflicts=('elementary-wallpapers' pantheon-backgrounds{,-bzr})

upstream has removed elementary-wallpapers.xml. as such this causes issues when building the package as the repo checkout doesnt include this file anymore
