I only update the pkgver, if a change in packaging needs to be performed. The rebuild due to a new major version needs to be manually induced by the user or automated with a AUR helper (e.g pacaur --devel).

This PKGBUILD will always fetch the latest commit.

The new icons were introduced in elementary-icon-theme with the following commit: https://github.com/elementary/icons/commit/22f1eccf05fd2656ec358f5464f95a2a2605bde9.

It's not included in a elementary-icon-theme release yet.

And the right click context menu in any thunar window still uses a blue icon for the "Create Folder" option.

It's already reported as a bug.

I think there might be something else going on here. The vanilla elementary icon set still uses blue folder themes (community/elementary-icon-theme 4.3.1-2). And the right click context menu in any thunar window still uses a blue icon for the "Create Folder" option. The folder color seems to be using the adwaita color profile. There was some mention of Faenza breaking following a recent glib2 update. I wonder if this was affected too?

They were replaced in the elementary icon set and these changes were pulled into elementary-xfce. I think the manilla colored folders will stay for the foreseeable future.

I've got no idea. But it wasn't maintained by me. I'm currently in a hospital without Wifi, so I'm unable to create and maintain it for the foreseeable future.

the new version now ship a v in the versioning, that make 0.7.r22 newer than v0.8.r2, do you can add a sed s|v||g (or something like that) to the version function?
