Mm, good point on the name clashes. I'll update all of my PKGBUILDS with that tonight. What's the motivation for gzipping .el files?

Please consider source=("$pkgname-$pkgver.tar.gz::https://github.com/victorhge/iedit/archive/v${pkgver}.tar.gz") to avoid name clashes with packages that happen to have the same version number and probably gzipping *.el files.
