CC: @ZappaBoy, @PRESFIL

Can you please specify the code required to load pdf-tools using init.el?

Thanks @sethkush it works. Did you already tried to submit a new PKGBUILD version?

Also getting configure: error: cannot find necessary poppler-private header (see README.org)

Edit: you can fix this by adding "CXXFLAGS='-std=c++17'" without quotes to each make command in PKGBUILD.

I'm getting the following error. Does anyone know about that? configure: error: cannot find necessary poppler-private header (see README.org)

Deleted my last comment. Had messed up my own system configuration through a misnamed script ^^

@xerus, I use this package instead of allowing emacs to rebuild the epdfinfo program as it asks after each version bump.

The epdfview, AFAIK, is a separate package.

xeruf commented on 2021-03-12 13:29 (UTC)

does this replace compiling epdfinfo within Emacs? What about epdfview? This is all a bit confusing...

The emacs-tablist dependancy seems to be wrong. Had to change it to emacs-tablist-git which fixed the issue.
