On a fresh install with latest CUPS the printer filter crashes on signal 11 from /var/log/cups/error_log: D [19/Oct/2017:18:51:46 +0200] [Job 9] PID 17715 (/opt/epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-635-nx625-series/cups/lib/filter/epson_inkjet_printer_filter) crashed on signal 11. I can add the printer via the CUPS web interface and the LCD on the printer shows 'printing' for a short moment. Any idea?

I deleted my previous comments because it seems that it was a problem with my install. Today i reinstalled arch on my machine and the aur4 package builds just fine. Something must have been wrong with my old install.

Ok, i skimmed the two pkgbuilds and there seems to be no major difference. That is really strange.

Today i tried the old aur tarball and voila, builds like a charm. So it seems that there must be something wrong with the new pkgbuild. At least i can print again ;)

I didn't change anything. Just downloaded the snapshot and then makepkg'd it. Bash is my shell.

Did you change something? Do you use the bash/zsh as shell?

First time here so be gentle ;) The Package doesn't build for me. I get this when makepkg outputs the ./configure: checking whether build environment is sane... yes ./configure: eval: line 2119: syntax error near unexpected token `(' ./configure: eval: line 2119: `${SHELL} /home/castle/Downloads/epson-inkjet-printer-workforce-635-nx625-series (4)/src/epson-inkjet-printer-filter-1.0.0/missing --run true' ==> FEHLER: Ein Fehler geschah in build().
