Thank you @saverio. Also, if anyone else wants to adopt and/or co-maintain this package, just ask.

Hello guys, I confirm the new official source for evolvotron is https://github.com/WickedSmoke/evolvotron .

I cannot maintain this package anymore on AUR, sorry. @denilsonsa Thanks for adopting it!

It was an honour for me to maintain it during the past. BRs Saverio

This package is currently broken. (Now fixed!) The upstream GitLab repository is not found.

Instead, evolvotron lives on at https://github.com/WickedSmoke/evolvotron/tags , with two versions 0.8.* being released this year.

Interestingly, there are two homepage URLs: http://www.bottlenose.net/share/evolvotron/index.htm and http://www.timday.com/share/evolvotron/index.htm

I updated the package with the patch that fixes the building, now Evolvotron can be installed again from AUR without any error.

@saverio - Should be ready for adoption now.

Best regards, ShadowKyogre

@ShadowKyogre Thanks for the info.

I could adopt this package in case you orphan it.

@saverio

Unfortunately, no. There's been several circumstances that happened that make it hard to maintain all the packages I normally attend to.

See

https://lists.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-general/2019-August/035332.html

for more information.

Right now I'm going through the packages I own right now to see which ones I can disown or ask for co-maintainers to help lighten load.

...are you still maintaining this package, dear author????

It is just needed to apply this patch to the Evolvotron sources and rebuild the package: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=929034#41

For info, the full bug report and related discussion is reported here: https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=929034
