I adopted this package to keep it from falling off, but I haven't had the chance to update it yet.

I think only patches 40 and 60 still work. I'm not sure the other even need to be updated. I've been building with just 40 and 60.

I'm not exactly sure what to do to fix it.

All the solutions i've tried so far don't work on both this and the stable package for some reason.

I guess I'll wait to see how the maintainer of ffmpeg-full and ffmpeg-full-git fixes the patches.

okay so downgrading svt-av1 to 0.8.1 fixes the compilation error, but now since the downgrade nothing works, probably due to the partial downgrade

compilation finished, everything works fine even with the partial downgrade

Can you try downgrading svt av1 to 0.8.1 and seeing if it occurs only with the new version?

compiling ffmpeg-amd-full-git or ffmpeg-amd-full throws me this error:

==> Starting build()...

-> Running ffmpeg configure script...

ERROR: SvtAv1Enc not found using pkg-config

Does it happens to you?

Maybe related: https://github.com/OpenVisualCloud/SVT-AV1/issues/35

And maybe related the latest commit to ffmpeg-full package

The non git package lacks support for glslang, rav1e, rabbitmq, vulkan and amf.

hmm i just discovered you made a non-git version of this package, i could switch to it, i dont think there is any improvement noticeable to me of this package vs the non git package, and i can fix that problem, but i see the pkgbuild is not exactly the same, slightly different flags, so can you tell me if they both have the same features?

I don't get any errors using ffmpeg-amd-full so I think the ffmpeg team may have made some changes that kdenlive doesn't currently support.

x264 is detected by kdenlive as being libx264 with ffmpeg 4.2x With this package it is detected as h264.

Will do.

I'm also going to try using mlt-git over mlt.

Right now im not in my computer, can u test if using ffmpeg-git or ffmpeg-full also gives u this error?

I can confirm that I receive the same error on my machine.

Looking through the logs it detects x264 under h264 but I think it's expecting libx264 instead.
