@Pillgar I've pinned the electron version to version 16, both in the

I'm getting a bug with electron v18. Seems like the launcher doesn't fully launch (just a blue window). Downgraded to electron 17.2 fixed it. I tried the bin variants from aur, it didn't help either, though I'm guessing gdlauncher is looking for "electron" specifically, and not electron-bin17/18 etc?

@ellesunflower There was an issue with an upstream npm dependency not working on node version 17, I've modified the pkgbuild to manually bump that dependency version so it works.

when compiling it says "The package-lock.json file was created with an old version of npm" fails to compile, and tells you to update npm, but when you do nothing changes

The latest package update doesnʼt work; you updated the pkgver but forgot to update the hashes, so it fails to verify.

Currently the upstream package is broken, and will be fixed in the next stable update. Use gdlauncher-beta or gdlauncher-beta-bin for now. EDIT: The package has been updated, and now works!

Should yarn still be used to build this package? gdlauncher-git is using npm and the instructions on the upstream repo also suggest similarly. I believe this is the source of an error I've been getting when trying to build this repo.
