@dront78 I will not file the bug on the genymotion forums because it is not a genymotion bug, simply an incompatibility between Qt5.4 (used by genymotion) and Qt5.5 (used by Arch), which is why the genymotion installer ships with the Qt5.4 libraries. The PKGBUILD for this package was removing those libraries which was causing the problems with the SQL and "File Transfer in Progress" glitches. The package maintainer has removed those rm lines from the PKGBUILD and Genymotion runs without anymore bugs when using the latest PKGBUILD.

need 'gstreamer0.10' and 'gstreamer0.10-base' as dependencies too genymotion: error while loading shared libraries: libgstreamer-0.10.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory genymotion: error while loading shared libraries: libgstapp-0.10.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Can anybody figure out why the "File transfer in progress" glitch is happening? It has to do something with the packaging because if you remove the line in the PKGBUILD that deletes the libQt folder it doesn't have that glitch. There might be some kind of incompatibility between the Qt5 that Genymotion uses and the version arch uses.

@danyf90 Hey, can you add the simlink to the Genymotion command line tool ? (gmtool - https://www.genymotion.com/#!/developers/gm-tool): /usr/bin/gmtool-> /opt/genymotion/gmtool

I get File transfer in progress also but the rebuilding of every application on boot is gone so I think this is a great WIN! thanks! @Dront78 thanks. I feel stupid but I couldn't get it to go away until your hint.
