Not sure what you mean by default env, this line in the PKGBUILD should do the same thing as the pull request that was created upstream (https://github.com/saltares/glapse/pull/6): sed -ie "s/python\b/python2/g" glapse.py glapse I've just tested this again and it works fine (using python2) for me on an up-to-date system.

This doesn't work when installed with python3.4 as the default env. requesting changes on upstream.
