@yochananmarqos I am using yay. maybe that's the reason?

Error: .git can't be found at Object.install (/home/as/.cache/yay/gmail-desktop/src/gmail-desktop-2.25.3/node_modules/husky/lib/commands/install.js:20:15) (internal/modules/run_main.js:72:12) at internal/main/run_main_module.js:17:47 ... STACK TRACE ... error Command failed with exit code 1. info Visit https://yarnpkg.com/en/docs/cli/install for documentation about this command. ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build(). Aborting... error making: gmail-desktop

Btw, Thank you for reply and fix in extra-ordinary speed! Now I have the updated version.

@rlsyasin: I have no issue with it:

$ husky install
husky - not a Git repository, skipping hooks installation

It's not necessary to run it of course, I've removed it.

Hey. I can not update this for a while due to husky error.

Error: .git can't be found

I believe authors added this new feature sometime ago. husky 5 in package.json prepare script. But bundle does not contain git folder so husky exits with an error. A patch that replaces "prepare" line in package.json would do the trick since the hooks used here only for linting of staged files. Let me know if I can help.

Hi, could you please update the package to 2.20.3? It fixes an annoying Electron bug. Thanks.
