The chroot build is failing for me with 'grep: meson.build: No such file or directory'. Could the meson.build be removed between build() and package()?

Please remove the version requirement from the depends array, it results in conflicts with alternative gnome-shell/mutter packages.

this package wont build without meson. Please add it to the makedependencies.

I just installed this extension and the gnome-shell-extension app says this version don't work with my GNOME version 40.4. I tried the non-git version, and it's the same, too.

Install from website works, through.

Edit: Never mind, the v52 version of this extension is for GNOME 41 beta, not GNOME 40.

Thanks! Since GNOME 40 got released, I'm returning to master. no funky branch checkouts anymore.

There's a bug in the PKGBUILD. In pkgver, remove the git checkout. It's already done in prepare and it causes additional output that makes pkgver fail:

==> ERROR: pkgver is not allowed to contain colons, forward slashes, hyphens or whitespace.
==> ERROR: pkgver() generated an invalid version: HEAD is now at 28b44d6 Bump to v48
37.r42.g28b44d6
==> ERROR: Build failed

The output of git checkout is consumed by pkgver too.
