I'm currently working on the update to 1.1.0. It'll still take some time, though.

EDIT 2024-11-07: There are failing tests, so I'm currently not releasing a package update. I created a bug report though: https://github.com/gnudatalanguage/gdl/issues/1907

Lets see, if we can find the culprit, please stay patient.

Thanks for testing, @Universebenzene. The problem turned out to be a problem within my containerized build system itself. I fixed the issue and working on the update...

@jankoh I just tried a clean build of hdf4 with devtools and the build passed without any problem.

Currently, a fresh build fails due to a compile error in hdf4. This package is already flagged out-of-date, so I hope the maintainer will release an update, soon. But as I'm currently not able to execute fresh test builds, I'll have to postpone the update of gnudatalanguage. Alternatively, I might just drop support for hdf4 as long as there is no update available. Let's just wait a couple more days...

There's no need for tests, as Arch repo renamed wxgtk3 to wxwidgets-gtk3 last year, but otherwise the library is the same.

Thanks for the update.

One minor additional request: please kindly make this depend directly on wxwidgets-gtk3 and not on its legacy name, wxgtk3.

It will allow this package to use other providers of wxwidgets-gtk3 (per users' choice), like wxwidgets-gtk3-git, wxwidgets-gtk3-light, or wxwidgets-gtk3-wayland-perf.

@jankoh I think that the gnudatalanguage developers regard the RC's as of equal status to the 0.9x releases. (they just ran out of space at 0.99?).
