If in the terminal I enter:
sudo find "/" -name "google-calendar.*" -print
It returns:
/usr/share/applications/google-calendar.desktop
/usr/share/icons/Compass/apps/48/google-calendar.svg
/usr/share/pixmaps/google-calendar.png
Being the png and desktop items the ones provided by this package, and the svg not the logo in question.
It could be this is a build-in icon in Chromium and Electron. As fix, in the desktop file, I would try specifying the full icon path.

Hello, thanks for the input. What do you mean? The .png in the sources list (showing the nr 12) is the Google Calendar icon. If it is not displaying correctly in your start menu then you may check your /usr/share/applications/pixmaps/google-calendar.png which should be the one that is displayed by the Desktop Environment.

The menu entry isn't showing the Google Calendar icon, but the Google logo.
