Please update license to use spdx identifier.

I fail to see how this is relevant to this package.

NewManjaroUser commented on 2024-06-22 15:04 (UTC)

Impossible to update on Manjaro due to "unable to satisfy dependency 'glib2-devel' required by gtksourceview2". glib2-devel couldn't be found in official repositories nor in AUR :(

Sorry, I deleted the flag out of frustration:

Your package gtksourceview2 [1] has been flagged out-of-date by
MarsSeed [2]:

Pls enable testing in PKGBUILD (by running 'make check'), and address
packaging issues reported by namcap (license declaration needed,
LDFLAGS should be used for RELRO, and all direct library dependencies
need to be declared).

This was 4 days ago. This isn't the first time I disowned a package because of your nit picking. All yours, boss.

@jkercher, I'm sorry but I don't know who you are and what you are referring to. I haven't communicated with you about any brokenness relating to this package. How about not being an antisocial attacker instead of being constructive?

Hey MarSeed. How about you fucking fix it clown.

@quequotion - fixed

depends=('gtk2' 'libxml2' 'python3')
makedepends=('intltool')

There isn't any point using /usr/local. Please add --prefix=/usr to the ./configure command in the PKGBUILD. That resolves the issue posted by nyanpasu64 and bsnes builds fine after that.

nyanpasu64 commented on 2021-11-16 22:11 (UTC)

This package installs /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig/gtksourceview-2.0.pc which isn't found by pkg-config (https://askubuntu.com/a/210235), breaking https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/bsnes/. Should this package install to /usr/lib/pkgconfig/, or should bsnes include /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig in its search path?
