It lives! Tip: if for some reason you fail to run the BankInstaller and you want to install the soundbanks, proceed as follows: Download the soundbanks from the website. cd /opt/GuitarPro6 ./GPBankInstaller /path/to/downloaded/Soundbanks.gpbank Data/Soundbanks/

Installed and reinstalled a few times... Had to chown /dev/snd/seq and put a symlink to /lib/libz.so.1.2.8 to get it to run. Every time I start it running and an error dialogue comes up saying: "gp build with Qt: 4.6.3 run with Qt: 4.6.2" and then a terminal error saying "Segmentation fault (core dumped)" I've got no idea what to do now!

After a reboot I'm getting a segmentation fault and I have no idea how to fix it... Any thoughts?

Great stuff, works perfectly ^_^ As a side note, I did have to chown /dev/snd/seq in case this helps anybody in the future :)

lib32-fontconfig is required for multilib and program start. It may be useful to add it as a dependency.
