Unsure what was wrong. When I manually ran the configure/make/make install commands they worked. When I updated /etc/makepkg.conf (I noticed I had a .pacnew sitting there for some time) the package suddenly built fine again. I checked the actual line that failed, and no flags had changed.. Funny stuff :)

I get an error during compilation: [[...]] gcc -march=x86-64 -mtune=generic -O2 -pipe -Wl,--hash-style=gnu -Wl,--as-needed -o h5totxt h5totxt.o arrayh5.o h5utils.o -lhdf5 -lz -lm arrayh5.o: file not recognized: File truncated collect2: ld returned 1 exit status make[1]: *** [h5totxt] Error 1 make[1]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... make[1]: Leaving directory `[[srcdir]]/h5utils-1.12.1' make: *** [all] Error 2 Aborting... Perhaps it could have something to do with the fact that I am using gcc 4.5?
