@MartinVonReich: I'm sorry, your comments confuse me.

Either way, I've clarified the install file comment and suggested command.

@yochananmarqos

Of course I know what it does, but logical sentence: „You can opt-in for the Root access by using this command: systemctl enable --now hardinfo2.service is simply not mentioned - this would, however, in such a case confuse me that it has already been done (enabled); especially with the conjunction of: systemctl restart hardinfo2.service. . .

@MartinVonReich: I don't think you understand what echo does... they're messages, not commands. It's up to the user to enable the services if they wish.

Hello,

It seems that line no. #4 and line no. #11 in: https://aur.archlinux.org/cgit/aur.git/tree/hardinfo2.install?h=hardinfo2 should not be "echoed" using echo command. This causes the post-installation steps within the "One Shot" SystemD service being useless . . .

@Eirikr: No, as it's not directly related to this program. If you need it on your system, then it's up to you to have it installed.

Could you please add spd-eeprom as an optional dependency? This is needed for SPD modules (RAM information) to get the detailed speed and timings on certain machines like my Intel Haswell-era HP Zbook.
