@Protecto, thanks for your suggestion. Upstream software is programmed to use /etc/hauk, and I don't really want to keep adding more search paths to it until I can force all installs to a single location. That could well be /etc/webapps/hauk, but would require manual intervention, so I'm saving it for a 2.0 release. It would also conflict with existing installs that have /etc/hauk as the config path currently.
I can however easily symlink /etc/webapps/hauk to /etc/hauk, if that will also work for this purpose?

May I suggest putting config.php in /etc/webapps/hauk instead of /etc/hauk? This would make this package compliant with Web application package guidelines.

The example configs' sha256 hashes don't match the PKGBUILD.
==> Validating source files with sha256sums... v1.6.tar.gz ... Passed apache-example.conf ... FAILED nginx-example.conf ... FAILED ==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check!
