Yes, you're right, I changed the "any" to the list of architectures.

It's spurious to set arch=(any). Please check https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PKGBUILD#arch

arch=('any') indicates the package can be built once on any architecture, and once built, is architecture-independent in its compiled state (usually shell scripts, fonts, themes, many types of extensions, etc.).

Instead, you need to list architectures on your own.

I've relaxed the architecture restriction, as this should work without a hitch.

Installing on ArchlinuxARM:

==> ERROR: hd-idle-go is not available for the 'armv7h' architecture.
 -> error downloading sources: /home/alarm/.cache/yay/hd-idle-go
     context: exit status

:: (1/1) Parsing SRCINFO: hd-idle-go
 -> The following packages are not compatible with your architecture:
  hd-idle-go

The installation did continue and complete though, and hd-idle is installed and working.

This works great for my WD Blue. Thank you for maintaining it d1ceward!
