All HQPlayer packages have been updated.

Removed conflicts

The reason is that both are using the library libsgllnx64-2.29.02.so (in the original package installed in a sub-directory of /opt)

Normally a library should be a different package and I didn't want to add the new directory to PATH.

So I decided to install it in /usr/lib

I will try to find a solution to this.

Hi, I am curious regarding why hqplayer-embedded is shown as conflicting with hqplayer4. I currently have a license for hqplayer4 and am experimenting with and may possibly buy a license for hqplayer-embedded, so it would be convenient to be able to have both installed.

Personally I am using HQPlayer starting it with systemctl --user start hqplayerd with the user added to audio group. I will think about this for the next package release.

Systemd.

Edit: Specifically, sudo systemctl start hqplayerd.

How did you start hqplayer? With the user or root systemd service?

Just noting that installation and configuration (after the downgrades you mentioned) work fine, but could not play music until I created the 'hqplayer' user and added it to the audio group.

HQPlayer embedded has been compiled with different older libraries.

Since it is not open source the only way to make it work is to downgrade the following applications:

gssdp 1.4.0.1-1 gupnp 1:1.4.3-1 gupnp-dlna 0.12.0-1 gupnp-igd 1.2.0-2 rygel 1:0.40.4-1

You could install the package downgrade and type downgrade gssdp gupnp gupnp-dlna gupnp-igd rygel
